(October 21, 2019)<\/strong> \u2013 The Chazen Companies is proud to announce Elizabeth \u201cLiz\u201d Cadwell, EIT has been honored as one of six women named \u201cWomen on the Rise\u201d by the Albany Business Review. \u2018Women on the Rise\u2019 identifies and honors women leading the way for the next generation with their outstanding and significant contributions to the business community.<\/p>\n<p>Cadwell joined Chazen in 2017 and recently obtained her EIT (Engineer in Training) certification. Since starting with Chazen, Cadwell has been an integral part of various projects for key clients. She has become a mentor for junior staff, joined the company\u2019s communication committee, and actively participated in the Capital Region\u2019s CANstruction event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Liz came to Chazen she immediately demonstrated a desire to succeed.\u00a0Her organization skills and attention to detail has resulted in increased efficiency for every project she works on.\u00a0Liz will face any challenge she is given with determination and resolve.\u00a0She is willing to take on any aspect of a project even if it is not within her comfort zone.\u00a0She recently passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and she will undoubtedly become a licensed Professional Engineer in the near future.\u00a0Liz is a valuable asset to the company, and we are fortunate to have her as a colleague,\u201d said Walter J. Kubow, P.E., LEED AP, Principal, Manager, Civil Engineering, The Chazen Companies.<\/p>\n<p>Cadwell graduated from Clarkson University with a B.S. degree in Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering and resides in Latham.
